RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot various low voltage systems, including network/data cabling, audio/visual systems, and security systems.
- Perform cable pulling, termination, and testing for voice, data, video, and other low voltage applications.
- Follow blueprints, technical drawings, and installation instructions to ensure accurate and efficient system setups.
- Work independently or in teams to complete projects according to schedule.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site while adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Demonstrate strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality at all times.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to advance technical skills and knowledge.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand and power tools.
- Prior experience in low voltage cabling or data tech roles is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds of equipment and materials.
- Must demonstrate a strong work ethic, dependability, and a positive attitude.
- Reliable transportation and ability to arrive at job sites on time.
- Certifications in Low Voltage or Structured Cabling (e.g., BICSI, CCT, or equivalent) preferred.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a team setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and quality.
